Early Spring Home Maintenance Tips

Now that spring is finally here, I’m giving you some great tips on how to get your home ready for the warmer months.

Spring is finally here! That means there are a few things you need to do around your home.

First, hook your sprinkler system back up and clean up the yard. Now that the snow is melting, it’s time to show off that curb appeal.

Second, change out the batteries in your smoke detectors and change out your furnace filter. These are little things that people often forget to do, so make sure you take the 15 minutes to get that done.

Third, see if your garage door needs any maintenance. Check out the hinges and springs to make sure they don’t need to be repaired or lubricated.

Finally, a little larger project would be to have someone come out and clean and service your heating and air conditioning units. There are some great deals for those types of services going on right now, and getting your furnace serviced now will save you a buck or two.
